Stories Under the Stars is on in Tamworth tonight! Here's a little star story to start your day off with many more to come tonight.

Stories under the Stars will launch Tamworth's Heritage Week celebrations. It starts at 7:30pm tonight, 19 April, at the Tamworth Botanic Gardens. Bring a picnic blanket or the camping chairs and feel free to bring along a picnic dinner if you wish.

The White Cockatoo features in a number of Kamilaroi stories - this is just one of them. The night sky was an important resource for Aboriginal people, keeping stories, seasonal knowledge and guiding seasonal practices.
